Gender Equity and Protection

This project’s main objective is to increase the protection of women in armed conflict under the UNSCR 1325, particularly in the prevention of and response to gender-based violence. the project’s activities include training on the implementation of UNSCR 1325 and through addressing young women in crisis and through increase access to comprehensive services on SRH and RH for marginalized women in marginalized areas in Hebron. The project also support the production of radio and TV spots addressing key gender inequalities in the Palestinian community by the trained young journalists and media students in 2011. In addition, the media advocacy activities promoting gender equality are to be carried out this year.
